Mr. Syed Moosa Kaleem Al-Falahi is a seasoned Islamic banker who brings wealth of experience and expertise to Afghanistan banking landscape after having worked in leadership roles for leading Islamic banks in GCC for 29 years. As an international banker he was instrumental in launching numerous cross border transactions, pioneered innovative products across various domains especially in trade finance and risk participation. Before joining Islamic Bank of Afghanistan (IBA) he worked as Vice President in Noor Bank, Dubai for 11 years prior to which he was with Dubai Islamic Bank and Qatar Islamic Bank.

He has an extensive experience and expertise in structuring Sharia compliant trade finance business, wholesale banking products, international relations, foreign investments, debt capital market and general banking. Bilingual proficiency in both Arabic and English with a unique combination of academic qualification and training in Sharia, banking & finance.
