Mr. Yaqoubi is a highly talented and professional banker with 14 years of experience in the field of banking and audit. Primarily, he started his career with the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan (formerly Bakhtar Bank) on October 1, 2009. He has been working in different areas including Internal Audit, Shariah Audit and Operations Department.

Bachelor in Business Administration (BA-Economics) Nangarhar University, Law and Political Science Dawat University, Certificate in Islamic Banking and Finance NIBAF-Islamabad-Pakistan, Diploma in Banking and Finance AIBF-Kabul-Afghanistan, Certificate in Internal Auditing AUAF-Kabul-Afghanistan. Good background in Internal Audit, Shariah Audit and Islamic finance/operations, engaged in practical experience besides academic experience.
