Alamgir “Afridi”, ACCA, M.Sc.
Mr. Alamgir is
an ACCA member, and Master of Science in Economics (with major in Islamic
Finance, and Project Planning and Management), having more than a decade experience
in auditing and accounting. Well equipped with the Financial Accounting
Standards (FAS) issued by AAOIFI, IFRSs issued by IASB, ISAs issued by IAASB,
Banking Law and Regulations issued by the Central Bank of Afghanistan, and
local tax legislation. Underwent various trainings from ACCA Pakistan including
“Banking, Financial Services and
Insurance”, “Capital planning and
different ways to raise banking capital” and “Islamic Banking”. Effective team player with excellent planning
and analytical skills, multi-tasking, completion with timelines. Demonstrated
people management and coordinating skills along with time management,
problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Mr. Alamgir is an
extremely skillful and qualified Chartered Certified Accountant and a banker
with a diversified multi-cultural experience with top 10 audit firm / multi-national
company, in Afghanistan and Pakistan, having expertise in the field of accounting,
finance and audit. Initially, he started his career with an audit firm in
Peshawar, Pakistan in December 2008. He has worked in different areas of
financial institutions including annual financial audits, quarterly review
assignments, AML/CFT audit, agreed upon procedures on loans and advances, and
Due Diligence Review. Apart from the banking sector, in the fields of audit and
finance, he is also having working experience in the sectors of construction,
telecom, airlines, NGOs, government organizations, and ISO pre-certification
assessment.
