Dr. Osmani specializes in Islamic banking and finance, as well as Shariah and jurisprudence experience. His educational background is outstanding and pertinent, and he possesses strong communication, strategic planning, and intellectual ability. He has worked as a product developer and marketing executive. Additionally, he speaks English, Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Pashto, and Malay (Malaysian), which allows him to contribute to the Islamic banking and finance sector, educational and training establishments, and multi-business enterprises.
He earned PhD in Islamic Banking and Finance in 2018 and Master of Islamic Jurisprudence degree in 2012 with a focus on "Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh" from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He received his bachelor's degree in Qur'an and Sunnah as well from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2006.
Dr. Osmani is currently employed at the Afghanistan Sciences Academy as an Academic Advisor to the Research Center of Islamic Banking and Finance and Contemporary Commercial Issues. Dr. Osmani as a Ph.D. scholar is a visiting lecturer in Islamic Banking and Finance sector, at the Afghan International Islamic University, Faculty of Shar??ah, Kabul, Afghanistan.
Dr. Osmani worked as head of Shriah Department at Islamic Bank of Afghanistan (IBA), from 01 Fab 2022 – 31 Aug 2022. He has been a member of the Shariah Board for the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan since July 16 2023.
